আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, ঘটনা থেকে বিশ্লেষণে, বিশ্লেষণ থেকে বিস্তারে যাবার পারঙ্গমতা আছে সকলের মধ্যেই।

একটি মুক্তমনা পত্রিকা হিসেবে আমরা তাই সকল সমর্থ কলমচির কাছেই আবেদন জানাই, আপনার ভাবনায় অতীতের পুনর্মূল্যায়নের মধ্যে দিয়েই খুলে যাক আগামী দিগন্ত, আমাদের পাতায়।

আমরা দলীয় রাজনীতি বা বাণিজ্যিক পক্ষ গ্রহণে উদাসীন, আমরা শোষিত ও নিপীড়িতের স্বর হয়েই বেঁচে থাকতে চাই, থাকতে চাই তাঁদের সঙ্গে কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে, যাঁরা এক অন‍্যরকম আগামীর কথা ভাবেন। আপনার সাহচর্যই সেই প্রার্থিত পার্থক্য গড়ে দিতে পারে।

আমাদের পত্রিকা আগামীর পৃথিবীকে আরও বাসযোগ্য করার চ‍্যালেঞ্জ গ্রহণে, তার মুখোমুখি হতে সদা উৎসুক-- যে কোনও সঙ্কটময় বিহ্বলতাকে পার করে। পাঠকের অকুণ্ঠ সমর্থন ছাড়া তা সম্ভব নয় কখনোই।
